Cleveland Country Club Tennis

The City of  Shelby and Cleveland County has strong tennis roots.
 It is natural that the premier Country Club would have equally strong tennis facilities and programs. 
 Offering seven clay courts and two hard surface courts,
the Cleveland Country Club Tennis Association is strong in numbers, participants,
and quality of play, often being a dominant force in USTA and club leagues.  

Additionally, many alumni of the Club's junior tennis programs have played
at the collegiate and professional level,
bringing recognition to one of the best kept tennis secrets in the Carolinas.

Tennis Shop Hours

Monday - Thursday
      9:00am - 6:00pm

Friday   
 9:00am - 5:00pm

Saturday 
9:00am - 5:00pm

Sunday     Closed

Players will learn the basic strokes of tennis and how to play a match in this weekly clinic. The clinic will meet each Thursday night from 7-8:30pm. The first clinic will begin April 2nd. Cost is $45 per month. Call the Tennis Pro Shop for more details!

Junior Tennis Buddies

Our basic junior beginner clinic for kids ages 6-12 years old meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 5-6:00pm. The cost is $60.00 per month.

Foothills USTA Junior Team Tennis League

The Foothills USTA Junior Team Tennis League will begin play on May 1st. The league will offer team play in the following division: 18 and under intermediate, 14 and under intermediate, 12 and under intermediate, 10 and under QuickStart, and 8 and under QuickStart. Each team is co-ed and will be comprised of three boys and three girls. We are beginning to put the teams together. Beginner players are welcome to participate.
